Radiolabelling: Synthesis of 14C-Labelled Peptide

This case study highlights the manufacture and supply of 14C-labelled antibody drug conjugate for a drug development programme.
Almac was approached to prepare 2mg of 14C-labelled biotinylated peptide. The 14C-label was required on the N-terminus amino acid isoleucine with a specific activity of >300mCi/mmol. The peptide chain contained 84 amino acids and was considered a complex synthetic target.
